This platform was easy to put together.It looks very nice and goes well with my decor.Theres about 3-4 inches that sticks out at the foot of my bed but I guess thats because every bed is made differently.Either that or they are giving you room to put in a headboard or something.Overall I really like the platform.

[...].I just received my platform bed last week, and I do enjoy it. It's very accomodating in that it's easy to assmeble, fits nicely in small areas, and can be moved easily. I've had the mispleasure in the past of having to lug bulky bed frames up flights of stairs, this was not the case with the platform bed. It was surprisingly light and can be handled by one person.Though I was able to assemble the bed by myself, help if available is a real plus.The bed is little larger than what I expected yet fits nicely into the little space that I have. The design is handsome and works perfectly for kids and adults. If you're looking for a bed frame that inexpensive and accomodating to your lifestyle, then this is the one buy.

I threw a dust ruffle over the rather rough slats and then topped it with an 8" memory-foam mattress. It feels great.

great bed I got It for 206.43 shipped to front door It has 4 middle support legs mahogany finish looks very nice a must have for memory foam mattress, I bought 2 4x8 1/2" 4 ply plywood sheets and had them cut to 2 pieces cut 59x39,then went to a hobby store and bought black fabric wrapped the plywood and stapled backside laid them on slats then laid mattress down put sheets on and done and it looks really good....overall easy to put together and disassemble,I did it by myself....note 1 support leg was wood putted back together looked real ugly but seemed strong enough so i used it anyway I might call company and try to get another 1.....

I was very skeptical to buy this bed online,and also the pics just aren't that great.So from reading comments on the Nagel Platform bed and from going to my local furniture stores around,they had nothing to compare to this bed this is the way to go for any budget shopper to mid-range shopper,when the bed finally got to my home and i started to put it together i noticed that the middle support beam also had 4 support legs wow that's great so the bed is sturdy.CON 1 support leg had clearly been held together by wood putty but all well it seem strong so i put it a the foot of the bed and all seems to be fine.NOTE I bought 12mm-1/2" 4 ply plywood and got 2 4x8 sheets and had them cut to 38x59 so i had 2 cut pieces... now you can measure if you want but this is about the best In my opinion and then I bought black fabric then wrapped plywood in it then stapled backside of plywood to help protect sheets..laid it on the slats then put my memory foam mattress down....Its very nice and comfy did take some getting use to ,since its my first memory form mattress/platform bed...I got the platform bed for [$] [...]...always call to get a better price......The mattress does sit inside the wood so mattress cant slide off......which is nice.....MAHOGANY seems to be solid wood/hard wood it could be real mahogany not sure...I think the slats are pine...

Very, very good. We had be spending a ton in box springs + mattresses. Well... we threw the box spring and put the mattress on this platform. Eureka! It was not the mattress, but the box spring! For some reason, today's box springs are not doing the job. This simple, inexpensive, easy to assemble platform is doing it!

Do be aware of something. Platform beds are 2 - 3 inches shorter than Box Springs + Matterss beds. It will give you an European look to your room. You are simply getting rid of your sring box.

We learned about platforms years ago, when we bought one for the visitors room. We then realized that, for some reason, that bed felt firmer and better than ours. Of course, soon we connected it to the platform bed (we had the same, or even better, quality mattress in our master bedroom). After several years, we finally decided to buy one for our room. We are happy with our purchase.

Bed was exactly what I wanted except that my mattress doesnt fit the frame exactly- I have a full size mattress and so I ordered a full size frame- there is a small gap between the end of my matress and edge of the bedframe mostly at the head and foot of the frame but it doesnt matter much as far as the bed performance at all.

This frame is a great alternative to a box spring. With a narrow stair case, we could not use a box spring, we love the platform bed!

Easy to assemble, provides good support - there is a verticcal post in the middle with an extra ground beam so the middle can't sink. The bottom is constructed with slatts. Overall, a basic bed frame, but so far it has been a great deal for the cost!

I use this product as my primary bed in a studio apartment. The pieces didn't seem to fit together right during the assembly and the instructions were very poor and were not in correct english. The slats didn't seem to be made to fit the bed, and that's where I ran into trouble.

Now that it's assembled though I like the way it looks and it's perfect for the limited space in my apartment.

This will be in my small guest bedroom, and it looks great.

Unfortunately, not all of the barrel nuts were correctly threaded, and none of my local hardware stores carry them. I have submitted a request for replacements via the online email tool four days ago, but thus far, have received no response.

I was able to place the bad barrel nuts in places that were not primary supports, but I would like to ensure that the bed is stable by receiving the correct barrel nuts.

Even with the bad barrel nuts, I would recommend this bed because it's a great value for the price.

I bought this for the style, price, [...] as my new primary bed! I saw the same bed on other sites for a much greater price, so I knew I was getting a good deal! [...] I have only slept on the bed a few nights, but it's been fine so far. It was also easy enough to assemble by myself; it took about an hour and a half. Had another person helped me, it probably would have only taken half an hour.

A sturdy well designed and nice looking bed that only took me an hour and a half to assemble (solo). There were no assembly instructions provided but it was still pretty straight-forward. I got rid of a box spring and am just using the upper mattress on this frame and it is the best "napping" I have had in a long time. I am considering making this bed my primary!!
