This all-wood "Alpine Bed" (pictured in "Honey Pine" finish) is constructed of knotty pine logs. The logs are a creamy white color, although there is very light coloration as well. The logs are approximately 3 inches in diameter. Each log is hand draw knifed to give each piece a uniquely different look. Cross-running logs go under the box springs for support. This is a very strong and stable bed that will last for years. Optional drawers are available and may be added under this or any other of the beds from the North Star line
