The Milano Bed provides a sleek modern look for any bedroom...it's truly a piece of art. The Milano comes in our deep rich Espresso finish, an exquisite finish that is so dark it is almost black, but not quite. Adjustable height frame with our hook and pin rail system gives it the ability to accommodate under bed storage drawers or trundle bed. The Milano is available as Full, Queen or King. Optional under-bed drawers slide under either side of the bed to provide extra storage.

Atlantic's innovative hook and pin system, make the Atlantic Furniture Windsor Platform Bed as sturdy as they come. The hook and pin system creates a strong, long lasting connection between the headboard and footboard, and it makes assembly a breeze! Two metal pins are embedded within the head and footboards at two positions making it easy to switch from upper height to lower height! Set the bed high for use with bed storage drawers or trundle bed or set it low for use with mattress and foundation. |  |

There's no need to overpay. The Atlantic Furniture Windsor Platform Bed keeps costs affordable by using eco-friendly hardwood. The wood is harvested by hand, and by rule we replace what we use by planting another tree in its place.
Each piece is finished with Atlantic Furniture's unique 5-step finishing process. Here's how: after a thorough sanding, (1) a wipe on sealer is applied. Once dry, a tinted sealer (2) is applied to even the grain and color of the wood. Next, another round of sanding before the first base color coat is applied (3). More sanding and the second base color coat is applied (4). Finally there is a final sanding and the finish coat is applied (5). |  |

Q: Can you put a box spring and a mattress on a platform bed?
A: Platform beds do not require a box spring our foundation to support a mattress. They have a slat system or a flat foundation built into the bed frame that will support your mattress. However, you CAN use a mattress and box spring with your Platform Bed, your mattress will just be much higher off the ground. So, if you don't want a sleek, low profile look, adding a box spring would be a nice addition.
Q: What about using a Futon Mattress with my Platform Bed?
A: There's no reason why you can't use a futon mattress instead of an innerspring one, it will certainly give you a low, sleek contemporary look. However, there are a couple of drawbacks to using a Futon Mattress: they're likely to be rather hard and they generally have a shorter lifespan than a regular mattress--they tend to compact quickly.
